When I wasn't attending school during my youth, I was earning extra money working in the lumber yards of Salt Lake City, Utah. It was at this early point in my life that I disovered my appreciation for natural building material. After completing my education, I began my career in the building industry at the commercial and wholesale construction level until finally cutting my teeth in the hardwood flooring industry in the late eighties.

Almost immediately, my interest and curiosity turned to pure passion for this incredibly unique and diverse organism, wood, that is not only structural, but one of the most important design and function elements in a home.

Having achieved success for years with the largest wholesale ditributors in the western united states, I was at the same time sharpening my skills at installation.
I later learned that some of my european ancestors were wood craftsmen and
apparently I hadn't fallen far from the "tree". I now enjoy the best of both worlds,
as a retail business owner, and a licensed contractor/master craftsman.

When you speak to me about my chosen indusrty, and specifically my chosen trade,
my passion is one of the first traits you notice.
Those who know me well; family, friends, and yes, my clientelle, can tell you that
I am a unique individual in the world of contractors and small businees owners.
Unique because I approach each and every project, big or small, exactly the same.
With the drive and desire to constantly strive for perfection.

I have no desire to open multiple locations, hire numerous employees, and lose
sight of the ethics and habits that I have built my business and reputation on.
I actually love doing what I do every day, and my integrity doesn't diminish
with time, it only gets stronger. My clients are the greatest advertising
I have, and they never let me down.
